This is another application in which we specialize. Gearbox is marked with running serial number in addition to this a nameplate is riveted on the body which has other information like gear ratio, type, plant code etc. The machine you see in the picture marks gearbox number & nameplate in single setup. As you can see gearbox & nameplate are clamped on two separate fixtures, marking data is received in to the machine PC & given to machine. Marking head is mounted on rodless pneumatic cylinders for up down & horizontal motion. When marking command is given gear is marked first, then the marking head moves to second position & marks nameplate.This machine requires custom software interface which is developed in house. |
